Polyethylene (PE) is a good label material choice for custom milk container labels thanks to its flexibility and moisture resistance. Polyethylene adapts seamlessly to the refrigerated conditions typical for milk storage, maintaining its integrity whether it’s in the cold environment of a fridge or being handled during transportation. It’s also well-suited for containers that may flex during use, ensuring the label stays intact.
Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) is another commonly used label material for milk containers—it’s stiffer than Polyethylene but still offers excellent label clarity and durability.
Treatments like lamination and matte finishes can also be applied. These processes not only protect the label against wear and tear but also add visual appeal without overwhelming glossiness.
Paper labels need water-resistant coatings or protective laminates to withstand moisture effectively and maintain their appearance over time.
Finishing touches can help your label stand out or add additional protection. A UV varnish can provide a protective layer and increase resistance to fading and wear. Foil stamping can add a sense of quality and even luxury to product packaging. Embossing can provide your label with enhanced depth and texture. Die cutting allows for custom contours and shapes that fit the container or highlight different design elements.
