When creating custom labels for dairy products, it’s important to include key information that meets both regulatory standards and consumer expectations. Here’s what should be included on a dairy product label:

• • Product Name and Branding: Clearly display the product name and your branding for easy recognition.
  • Net Weight or Volume: Include the net weight or volume of the product in both metric and U.S. customary units.
  • Ingredient List: List all ingredients in descending order by weight.
  • Nutrition Facts Panel: Provide a detailed nutrition label that shows calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, and vitamins per serving.
  • Allergen Statement: Identify major food allergens, such as milk, with a clear allergen statement like “Contains Milk.”
  • Pasteurization Statement: Specify whether the product is pasteurized or unpasteurized, especially for milk and cheese.
  • Expiration Date or Use-By Date: Include a use-by or expiration date so consumers know when the product is freshest.
  • Storage Instructions: Indicate proper storage conditions, such as “Keep Refrigerated.”
  • Manufacturer Information: List the manufacturer’s name, address, and contact information for inquiries.
  • UPC/Barcode: Ensure there is a barcode for retail scanning.
  • Claims and Descriptions: Add any relevant claims like “Organic,” “Low Fat,” or health benefits.

Our printers are capable of matching up to 97% of the full color spectrum, allowing us to achieve precise color reproduction for your beer labels. We use advanced CMYK printing to produce an extensive gamut of colors. For designs requiring an expanded range, we also print using WOVG ink sets which add white, orange, violet and green.

Our top-of-the-line color management program and processes ensure we hit the correct hues, tints and shades. We color calibrate and profile all of our presses so your unique color palettes and gradations print true to your vision.
